The launch was a huge success last night for Refuge for Women. Thank you to everyone who prayed and participated in the event. We had 450 people that attended and was given generous donations for the start of the ministry. We will be posting pictures from last night on the website along with some stories of girls who have left the adult entertainment industry on our new website www.refugeforwomen.org
Praise the Lord!!!

Launch Night
We are six days away from the launch night for the Refuge for Women. I would appreciate your prayers for the guests that are to come and the different elements of the evening. Our desire is that the heartbeat of the ministry will spread and an army for service will be mobilized.

A Father's Blessing
Today was my last staff meeting as a member of the staff at Soutland Christian Church. I will be launching full time into the Refuge for Women in 3 weeks. At the end of the meeting today Gary Black asked me to come forward to pray over me. Gary has played a significant role in multiple ways in the Refuge for Women coming into fruition. I see him as a faithful man of God but also as a mentor and a spiritual father/mentor in my life. It was a gift to have him say a blessing and give a commissioning for the assignment. One more gift from the Heavenly Father through the hands of an earthly father.

The Body Of Christ
A phrase that God keeps putting in my heart is "Do Your Part". The Body of Christ can accomplish much when everyone does a little. As God is preparing us for the Refuge to open I am amazed at the willingness from people to help. This week alone I learned that a family decided to get rid of their gym membership and give that money to help the Refuge for Women. An individual sent a note this week saying she sold some maternity clothese on craigs list and wanted to give it to help transform lives. A Chiropractor approached me this week and said he would like to offer his skills for any girls that might need some work done. A landscaper wanted to know if we needed plants installed when the house is complete. A decorator wanted to know if she could help fill the home with a personal touch when the construction is done. The list goes on and on. 1 Corinthians 12:7 says "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." Verse 12 says "The body is a unity, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ." Praise God for the gifts that He has given so many people. Helping these women is a God-sized assignment that will take all people doing their part.
